New Aaliyah & Drake Single Sparks Controversy

The beautiful Aaliyah has inspired Drake and his unique sound in so many ways throughout the years. And Drake hasn't hidden his love for the late R&B diva. Songs, tattoos and Tweets  in her honor should be hint enough. People have gone as far as saying that Drake has profaned (disturbed, tainted) her music by making a new album and releasing this single. Old Aaliyah fans are saying that the album isn't right without Timbaland and Missy Elliott. But what people fail to realize is that Aaliyah had a falling out with Tim before she died. There wasn't really a sure case that she would make anymore music with him. People also never think if Aaliyah was still alive, would she have the same sound, same producers or even be a singer. Another argument is that Drake is an avid fan of Aaliyah. When you see Drake & Nicki Minaj fans cover their music and make photos of the two, thats our way of interpreting our fave's art in our own way. What better way to show his favorite PERSON how much he really, truly loves her than putting all the unused music and energy into a new album? No one wants to see Drake make this album because they don't like Drake. Chris Brown can make a Michael Jackson album and it sends fans through the roof in happiness. But Drake can't even make a song for Aaliyah without being called obsessed. Another thing is that people who have actually worked with Aaliyah have tried to make albums for her but her family has made them stop, but the fact that Drake is making one with no problems, shows that at least her family has approved. Drake has worked with Timbaland and that's getting close enough to Aaliyah. I think Drake would have some pointers on how to make this album just like Aaliyah never left this earth. It's a lot of shade being thrown around for someone who's just trying to make good music. If Eminem can make a Tupac album, Drake can make an Aaliyah album.
